Replacement of existing wet well submersible pumps with two new Flygt Explosion Proof Submersible Pumps Model NP3085.070-256 with High Chrome Impeller and Insert Rings, Rated for 180 GPM @ 40' TDH, 4HP, 3 Phase, 230 Volt with 3" Discharge and 50 foot Motor and Sensor Cables, Pumps Equipped with Seal Fail/ High Temperature Cables, or approved equal. o Removal and replacement of existing guide rail systems with two new Flygt Guide Rail Systems with 3" Discharge Elbows, Stainless Steel Guide Rails, Upper Brackets, Lifting Chain and Quick Links (20ft Lengths), or approved equal. o Replacement of existing control panel with one new Intrinsically Safe Duplex Control Panel in Nema 4X Stainless Steel Enclosure with Aluminum Inner Door. Complete with ABB VFDS for Phase Conversion, Circuit Breakers, Alternator, H-O-A Switches, Seal Fail and High Temperature Relays, Elapsed Time Meters, Run Lights, Panel Heater and Alarm Light With Horn, or approved equal, including all electrical work, service disconnect, junction boxes, replacement of all conduit, cable and wiring; o Install four Float Switches with 50 Ft Cable and Stainless Steel Support Bracket o Install two new 3" APCO Swing Check Valves with Flanged End Connections and Lever and Weight Operators o Restore existing Storm Water Management Pond to original plan grades including all excavation, clearing and grubbing, removal & disposal of removed materials per Local, State, and Federal regulations, shaping, grading, seeding, mulch blankets, fence removal and reinstallation to restore the Pond to fully restored condition. o Restoration of disturbed areas; o All related work. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the OWNER and furnish the required bonds and insurance documents within fifteen (15) days following award of the Contract, through no fault of the OWNER, he/she shall forfeit the entire amount of his/her bid security to the OWNER. Representatives of the owner and engineer will be present to discuss the project and receive questions from prospective bidders, who are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion. Engineer shall transmit to all such bidders of record such addenda as engineer considers necessary to provide clarification, in response to questions arising therein, or arising subsequent.
