As of January 2, 2024, construction has begun on the rehabilitation portion of the project. New construction is scheduled to begin spring of 2025. The general contractor has been identified. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000341825 The planned scope of the Ovation Project includes the erecting of a new performing arts center capable of hosting ~ 2,000 persons and the renovation of an existing building to serve as offices for the Lansing Public Media Center. The new facility scope includes: a. A new performing arts venue with capacity of ~ 2,000 persons The existing renovation scope includes: b. Former offices located at 520 S.
