Renovation of a multi-residential development in Marshall, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
This project has a construction estimate of: under $258,000.00 The work shall be commenced at the time stipulated in the Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and shall be substantially completed within sixty (60) consecutive Calendar days thereafter. The Housing Authority of the County of Clark, Illinois will receive sealed bids for Plumbing and Dwelling Unit Upgrades funded under Modernization Program No.s IL01P069-501-22 and IL01P069-501-23 at Project IL-69- 4/Marshall in Clark County, Illinois. Bids shall be submitted in a single lump sum proposal. Such deposit will be refunded to each bidder who returns the plans, specifications and other documents in good condition to the Housing Authority or to the Architect within fourteen (14) days after bid opening. Partial sets may be purchased at the cost of photocopying and shipping cost upon completion of a request for partial plans/specifications form and submitting to the Architect. Documents may also be downloaded from the Architect's website for bidding purposes only. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the PHA will reject the bid. Proposals shall be made on unaltered bid forms which are incorporated herein. All blank spaces shall be completed. Proposals shall be signed with name typed below signature. When bidder is a corporation, proposals must be signed with the legal name of the corporation followed by the name of the state of incorporation and the legal signature of an officer authorized to bind the corporation to a contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the Housing Authority all in accordance with Clause No. 10, Assurance of Completion, of the Instructions to Bidders. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and that payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this project. Any State rate that exceeds the corresponding Federal rate is inapplicable and shall not be enforced. Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders, Form HUD-5369-A shall be submitted with the bid. Bidders shall carefully examine the documents and construction site to obtain firsthand knowledge of the existing condition. Contractors will not be given extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and documents. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. All questions or comments need to be submitted by noon on 12/28/24. Any substitution requests need to be submitted by 2/27/24 at the end of the day.
