Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD) is soliciting qualification statements from qualified architectural firms for design, and construction administration for current and future Hays CISD Bond Projects. The district reserves the right to award for portions of work to different Architects, to make an award of all the work to a single Architect or make no award in connection with this solicitation. Hays CISD reserves the right to interview a select number of respondents after shortlisting qualification responses. Respondents who are chosen for an interview will receive notice of date, time and location from Anston Shockley, Buyer. Substantial Completion 6/23/2028 Final Completion 8/4/2028 HCISD may, at its option and with the approval of the contractor, extend the period of this agreement up to four (4) additional one-year periods. This extension would contain all terms and conditions and rates of the original contract, contingent upon availability of funds. The Contractor shall be notified in writing by the Buyer of HCISD's intention to extend the contract period at least thirty (30) days prior to expiration of the original contract period. BOND REQUIREMENTS - 8.1 Performance bond in the amount of the contract is required in the event that the contract is in excess of $100,000. 8.2 Payment bond in the amount of the contract is required in the event that the contract is in excess of $25,000 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
