(57 mm) total thickness of new HMA combined with either HMA binder or HMA surface removal, according to Illinois Test Procedure 701, Ride Quality Testing Using the International Roughness Index (IRI). Work shall be according to Sections 406, 407, or 420 of the Standard Specifications, except as modified herein.
