Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Covington, Georgia. Working plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

General Scope of Work This Scope of Work includes the following general components concerning the Demolition of Property: 1. Removal and disposal of asbestos by State of Georgia Asbestos Abatement Specifications and the federal Clean Air Act (and all implementing regulations). 2. Demolition and removal of buildings, basements, concrete/asphalt slabs, and foundations. 3. Demolition and removal of site improvements, including but not limited to foundation, parking slab, retaining wall, and concrete sidewalk. The concrete sidewalk is limited to the portion adjacent to the building and not the City-controlled sidewalks at the front and right of the lot. 4. Installation of soil erosion-sedimentation control as required by DEM regulation. 5. Filling the demolition site with seed and straw. Distribute seed uniformly. Rake and roll the seeded area lightly to firm the soil, then place a mulch of clean pine straw (or hay) over the soil to prevent erosion. The contractor must contact the City Marshal, Danny Bartello at 770-385-2022 within five (5) days of completion of each job for a final inspection.
