Atlantic County Utilities Authority will receive sealed bids, pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law of the State of New Jersey, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. at the ACUA Admin-istration Building, 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, N.J. Atlantic County Utilities Authority will receive sealed bids. At the aforementioned date, time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq, and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bids that arrive late due to the fault of U. S. Postal Service, United Parcel Service, DHL, FEDEX, any delivery/courier service, or any other carrier of any sort are still considered late and shall not be accepted by the Authority. Such bids shall remain unopened and will be returned to the submitting entity upon request. SCOPE OF WORK: Bids are solicited for a Contract for Services for routine and emergency maintenance of the existing 20 mil LLDPE reinforced cover system on an as-needed basis at the ACUA landfill located at 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. All work shall be performed according to the plans and specifications. Question Deadline 02/16/2024 at 4:30 PM ET. Questions will be accepted in writing. Bidders are cautioned to obtain and review the plans and specifications well in advance of this date. The Authority will consider all requests for technical modifications to the plans and specifications and will, if necessary, issue an addendum. Addenda will be issued only in the exceptional case where, in the Authority's sole judgment, the issue involved is of sufficient importance to materially affect the bidding process.
