Site work for a water / sewer project in Baytown, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of Dewatering of Alexander Island PA, an upland site along the Houston Ship Channel. Work will consist of constructing dewatering ditches at the placement area. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 180 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days* after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
