PERIOD OF CONTRACT: One year from date of award with four (4), one (1) year renewal options Work shall be performed along Interstate Systems and Detour Routes within Bristol District. Locations listed for tree trimming/brush removal work shall be clearly identified on work order(s) submitted to Contractor. Locations listed on work orders will have fixed ''starting'' and ''stopping'' points (GPS or mile marker readings for linear distances). Multiple starting/stopping points may apply to any single location; mileage for each section of trimming/brush removal (on a single location) shall be “cumulative”, with the total mileage producing the total billable quantity. Determination of work shall be made by VDOT on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall complete the work as identified on work orders submitted by VDOT Roadside and the Contractor shall be responsible to mobilize the proper resources to accomplish the work by the prescribed Milestones/Completion Dates as stated within submitted work order(s). Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be submitted in writing to nasir.chhipa@vdot.virginia.gov no later than 5 business days, prior to the closing date. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised.
