Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Manchester, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes removal and replacement of the existing 48" riveted steel down draft tubes and turbine housing support struts. The bids shall include, but not be limited to, removal of the draft tubes beneath the pump station floor slab, leaving a short stub of each of the draft tubes to be used as needed when installing the supports/replacement tubes/etc, and removal and replacement of the turbine housing support struts, including all connections and incidentals. It is estimated that approximately 15-feet of new 48" piping will be needed for each of the draft tubes. Bids shall include all labor, equipment, permanent and temporary materials, supports, staging, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Contractors shall submit a list of all materials to be used for the repair/replacement, what connection methods will be employed, and a proposed construction sequence for the work. Comprehensive General Liability insurance written on occurrence form, including completed operations coverage, personal injury liability coverage, broad form property damage liability coverage and contractual liability coverage insuring the agreements contained herein. The minimum limits of liability carried on such insurance shall be $1,000,000 each occurrence and, where applicable, in the aggregate combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage liability; $1,000,000 annual aggregate personal injury liability. Automobile liability insurance for owned, non-owned and hired vehicles. The minimum limit of liability carried on such insurance shall be $1,000,000 each accident, combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage. The contractor who is awarded the project will have until June 1, 2024 to complete the work. Contractors must have significant experience working on hydroelectric generators and must demonstrate The Board of Water Commissioners reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that appears to be in the best interest of Manchester Water Works. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. Project must be completed before June 1, 2024 unless otherwise agreed.
