The "US HIGHWAY 18 AND 42ND STREET TURN LANE PROJECT," consists of constructing: Right and left turn lanes on US Highway 18 & 17 at the intersection of 42 Street serving the North Y Gateway Commercial subdivision. Major items of construction and approximate quantities thereof for the "US HIGHWAY 18 AND 42ND STREET TURN LANE PROJECT" are as follows: 9" PCC Pavement 1,517 Sq. Yds. 12" Modified Subbase 1,923 Sq. Yds. Unclassified Excavation 1,652 Cu. Yds. Class A Crushed Stone Shoulders 325 Ton Pavement Removal 300 Cu. Yd The contract includes intermediate working day restrictions by work zone. The contractor shall have a total of 25 working days to complete the work. Said 25 day period shall be between July 12, 2024 and October 15, 2024. The contractor shall complete all work covered by the contract on or before the 25th working day following the commencement of work at the site, or October 16, 2024, whichever comes first. If any questions should arise as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications of any part of the contract documents, the prospective bidder shall submit a written request (Email is acceptable) to the Engineer for an interpretation thereof. The interpretation thereof shall be made by addendum issued to each registered plan holder.
