This project will install a splash pad at Brookhurst Park. A splash pad is an amenity that has been requested by the community for children and families to enjoy. The City currently operates two splash pads that are located far from Brookhurst neighborhood residents and are heavily used each summer. The addition of the splash pad will create a much-needed space for children and families to enjoy and cool off when temperatures rise. This project is included in the City of Anaheim's fY 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of February 9, 2024, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in 2024/2025.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
