GSCS Group IV Renovations to Anne Street Elementary School (MSSA-PBK PN202325) and Moreland Road Elementary School (MSSA-PBK PN 202301). It is the intent of the GSCSS to seek Board of Education approval for the Group VI Renovations at the meeting scheduled for March 19, 2024. Qualified General Contractors interested in bidding on the project shall have been in business for a 11 minimum of ten (10) years, successfully completed a minimum of three (3) similar renovation and 12 preferably performed other types of education/school related construction projects. A list of all similar 13 renovation and modification projects along with all other projects completed or currently under 14 construction under the firm name during the last five (5) years shall be provided at the Pre-Bid 15 Conference to justify qualifications. Such list shall contain as a minimum the architect, owner, project 16 name, building type, project type, building size, total project costs, change order costs, notice- to-proceed 17 date and substantial completion date. Only a proposal submitted by a Bidder on record with the Architect as having received plans and specifications from the Architect will be opened. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on date of opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Including, but not limited to, interior and exterior painting, partial flooring replacement, and partial roof replacement. The Work also includes, limited plumbing work, replacement of limited HVAC equipment, installation of LED lighting, and replacement of generator. The Work at Moreland Road Elementary School consists of renovations & modifications to the existing 69,000 SF facility. Including, but not limited to, interior and exterior painting, partial flooring replacement, and partial roof replacement. The Work also includes, limited plumbing work, replacement of HVAC equipment, installation of LED lighting, and replacement of fire alarm system.
