Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the construction of a municipal facility; municipal facility; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Package 10 - Raw Water Maintenance Facility Scope New Maintenance Building and Service Bay with associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Associated civil works including site grading, asphalt paving, water and sewer piping for the maintenance facility are also included. Buildings are pre-engineered metal buildings with concrete slabs and drilled pier foundations. Maintenance building includes approximately 3000SF of interior finish out office space and two maintenance bays with a bridge crane and vehicle lift. Electrical work includes electrical service entrance, back up generator, associated electrical work for the maintenance building, site lighting, and fire alarm system. The project includes: o A new maintenance building, service bay, and stoplog and screen storage area located within the same fence line as the pump station. o Installation of a new potable water line and associated potable water piping and appurtenances to the new maintenance building and service bay. o Sanitary sewer piping and appurtenances. o Site civil works including grading, paving, and services utilities for the maintenance building. o New electrical improvements including generator, fire alarm system, interior and exterior building lighting and site lighting. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES As time is of the essence, any delay to the completion date of the project that is deemed the responsibility of the PROPOSER, the following liquidated damages shall be assessed against the PROPOSER: $1000 per day beyond Substantial Completion $1000 per day beyond Final Completion. FUNDING AGENCY REQUIREMENTS This project is funded in whole or part by the Texas Water Development Board (Funding Agency). The funding requires specific conditions and reporting as a condition for providing this funding. The conditions and reporting forms of the Funding Agency are included in the Contract Documents. The Funding Agency requirements govern in the event of any conflict between the Funding Agency requirements and any other provisions of the Contract Documents. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. A bid security is not required for this project. Payment and performance bonds will be required by the selected contractor and the requirements are located in Specification 00 21 13 Appendix A Sample Contract. The Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and technicalities and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the Owner. No proposal may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date proposals are opened.
