CLT is looking for a Company to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, test and repair a variety of switchgear and breakers. CLT installations range from the small facility with residential type single-phase power to the very large facility with incoming service voltages up to 25 KV (kilovolts). Naturally, larger facilities have the more elaborate, complex, and costly electrical distribution equipment. It is imperative that all CLT installations containing electrical distribution equipment be properly maintained and the required data/documentation is in place to ensure the correct functionality and performance of electrical equipment. This will include, but shall not be limited to: inspection, maintenance, and repairs of circuit breakers and associated circuit breaker equipment within the switchgear or distribution equipment for each breaker identified, MV and LV switchgear (and PLC's), motor control centers, and protection relay replacement, programming and testing. Changes to the terms, conditions or specifications stated in this Request for Proposals will be documented in written addenda issued by the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The term of the Contract shall be for three (3) years with two optional one-year renewals. Proposers are advised to carefully read and review the form Contract as they prepare their Proposal. CLT reserves the right to revise the terms of the form Contract at any time during the RFP process and to negotiate different terms with the Company.
