Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Salisbury, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This project consists of the new construction of a new 3rd-8th Grade School for Rowan-Salisbury Public Schools constructed on an approximately 12 acres site, located at 1625 West Park Rd. Salisbury NC 28144. On-site construction shall consist of grading, storm drainage, utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, athletic facilities, fencing, etc. The new building is approximately 122k sf, 2-level school with shallow CIP Concrete foundations, combination of Structural Steel and load bearing masonry structure with Brick Veneer and metal wall panel. The building envelope consists of brick veneer on CMU masonry, brick veneer on metal stud backup, or metal panels on metal stud backup, and a PVC roofing system. Typical building interiors include CMU partitions, GWB partitions and assemblies, acoustical ceilings, PLAM casework, lab casework, painting, flooring, and building specialties.
