Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sunnyside, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $9,000,000 This project constructs new infrastructure for the Port of Sunnyside's Midvale Industrial Park. This includes approximately over 2,300 tons of HMA, 5,600 LF curb and gutter, 4,900 LF of gravity sewer, 3,600 LF of force main sewer, 9,200 LF of new water main, a complete sanitary lift station, an industrial lift station without pumps, valves, or electrical connections for future extension and completion, and 3,300 LF of irrigation improvements. This project also includes an additive bid schedule for an additional 800 tons of HMA and 2,150 LF curb and gutter. This contract has two-hundred fifty (250) working days to complete the work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the Port of Sunnyside for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the Port of Sunnyside in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the Port for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Port Office on or before the day and hour above mentioned. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Port of Sunnyside reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the Port of Sunnyside.
