Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; transportation facility; transportation facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

This work includes repair and renovation of systems for Bldg. 611 thru 615 (QTA Facilities) - HVAC, Parking Lots, & Water System project at the Indianapolis International Airport, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The QTA Facility is an automotive light maintenance and wash facility used by rental car companies. The Project consists of five buildings each containing office space, wash bays, maintenance bays, utility rooms, storage, and open canopy areas serving as vehicle refueling and detailing bays. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to: o Failed asphalt and broken site concrete to be replaced. o Asphalt to receive crack repair and sealing. o Repair or replace fence posts, gates and dumpster enclosures with damage. o Construct new gravel parking lot on east side of facilities. o Exterior masonry walls repair. o Roof, parapets and copings need minor repair work. o Limited interior finishes are being updated with new flooring, paint and refurbished ceilings. o MEP scope includes but not limited to: o replacement of HVAC roof, ceiling and wall units. o Ceiling grilles and diffusers being changed out. o Piping in Wash Bays is being replaced. o Underslab waste piping is to be scoped to determine if any blockages exist. o Oil Separators and interior trench drains are to be replaced with limited underslab piping. o Snow melt systems at each Wash Bay exit are being replaced. o Resecure and clean plumbing fixtures. o Light fixture and lamp upgrades. o Upgrade electrical service to panels and some equipment. o Upgrade site lighting Each bid shall include all work, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project as required in strict compliance with the drawings and specifications (Plans) prepared by Etica Group, 8720 Castle Creek Parkway E Drive, Suite 400, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250. Pursuant to the repeal of Indiana Code 5-16-7, effective July 1, 2015, common construction wages are not required on this project. The Indianapolis Airport Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. In accordance with Indiana Code Section 5-16-13-1, et seq., prequalification with the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) or the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is required of all contractors, in any contractor tier, performing work under contract to the IAA which is estimated to be One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000) or greater. All bids shall be on Form No. 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, must be accompanied by a Financial Statement, must be properly and completely executed, and shall be accompanied by a properly completed non-collusion affidavit. After opening bids, no bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days without written consent of the Owner. All bids shall be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the contract amount. An original copy of the bid bond will be requested from the successful bidder immediately following the bid opening. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish acceptable surety bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Said performance, material and payment bond shall remain in effect for twelve (12) months after the date of the Owner's final acceptance of Contractor's work. Should a successful bidder withdraw their bid or fail to execute a satisfactory contract, the Indianapolis Airport Authority may declare the bid deposit forfeited. The Indianapolis Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
