Valley View Water District (District) invites prospective bidders to submit a proposal for the Waterline Replacement Project #N220369OR. Sealed proposals for the Waterline Replacement Project for the Valley View Water District The work contemplated consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of approximately 5,650-linear feet of 4-inch to 12-inch diameter C900 PVC waterline along SW Shattuck and SW Windsor Court to replace existing 4-inch and 6-inch diameter waterline. Work includes, but is not limited to, trenching, fire hydrant replacement, water service reconnections, curb and roadway repair, testing and disinfection, tie-in of water main, and abandonment of the existing waterline and acquirement of the Owners approved Multnomah County Utility Permit. Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms and must be accompanied by bid bond executed in favor of the District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the District a performance bond and a payment bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interests of the District. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so. Work includes, but is not limited to, trenching, fire hydrant replacement, water service reconnections, curb and roadway repair, testing and disinfection, tie-in of water main, and abandonment of the existing waterline and acquirement of the Owner's approved Multnomah County Utility Permit Question Deadline 02/29/2024 Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. 7.2 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner and Engineer in writing and address the request to Brendan O'Sullivan, P.E. at brendan.osullivan@consoreng.com Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
