Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fellsmere, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 23, 2024, the project is canceled. Project is no longer needed. Fellsmere Old School Window/Door Renovation All bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal forms provided in the Specifications. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the sealed proposal of each builder will be required as follows: a cashiers check, a certified check, or a surety bond payable to the City of Fellsmere. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. If the Contract is awarded to a Bidder, that Bidder shall enter into a Contract with the City and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds and Certificates of Insurance or forfeit the Bid Bond or security as liquidated damages. A contract must be executed within ten (10) days following the award of the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to delay the awarding of the Contract for up to sixty (60) days after the bid opening, to waive information in any bid, or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will serve the best interests of the City. Every request for interpretation shall be made in writing, addressed, and forwarded to Grant Administrator of the City of Fellsmere, 22 S. Orange Street, Fellsmere, Florida 32948, grantadmin@citvoffellsmere.com, ten (10) or more days before the date for opening of bids
