Red Oak Acres Subdivision Water Line Scope This project will increase the capacity of the water line in the Red Oak Acres Subdivision to supply fire flow by abandoning the existing 6-inch water line and installing approximately 5,400 linear feet of new 8-inch water line and approximately 550 linear feet of new 6-inch and 4-inch water line along Neal Drive, around Loganberry Circle, and along Sam Drive to the end of the cul-de-sac. Estimate: $725k-$775k The deadline to ask questions is 2/26/2024 5:00 PM CST. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted to the Engineer in writing or through online at least five (5) days prior to the opening of bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda at least 48 hours prior to Bid Opening. CONTRACT TIME A. The number of days within which, or the dates by which, the Work is to be substantially completed and also completed and ready for final payment (the Contract Time) are set forth in the Agreement. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES A. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, are set forth in the Agreement. CONTRACT TIMES The Work will be substantially completed within 180 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 210 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The project has been designed by Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc., who is hereinafter called ENGINEER and who is to act as OWNER is representative, assume all duties and responsibilities and have the rights and authority assigned to ENGINEER in the Contract Documents in connection with completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
