The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified general contractors to purchase materials, construct and install trellis swings and to assemble and install Town-purchased trash cans and dog waste stations at the open space/park at New Riverside Village at 340 Parkside Commons. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities or technicalities and may, at its discretion, request a new solicitation. The Town may cancel this solicitation in part or in its entirety if it is in the Town's best interest to do so. This solicitation does not commit the Town to award a contract, or to pay for any cost incurred in the preparation of bids, or to procure or contract for any articles of goods or services. Offerors are required to submit questions no later than: 2:00pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024 Online via Vendor Registry Answers to questions and any other changes or clarifications will be communicated via an addendum and posted on the Town's Purchasing Center webpage. It is the Offeror's responsibility to check the website for updates. Offerors are expected to ask for clarifications in a timely manner. No assumptions, exceptions, or modifications to the bid sheet are permitted. ***Bid Event: The Vendor Registry portal can accept files as large at 800 Mb. It is recommended that submissions are uploaded as one PDF within the size limitation; if vendors must submit multiple files, please take care when naming them. It is recommended to upload your submission at least two hours before the deadline to ensure appropriate upload time or to contact Vendor Registry customer service if necessary. The Vendor Registry portal will not accept submissions after the deadline. It is the Offeror's sole responsibility to ensure that submittals are complete and uploaded timely. Oral offers or offers by facsimile or email are not acceptable.
