The Project includes the following Work: Base Bid This work includes milling and edge milling 13,900 square yards of existing asphalt, adjust frame and rings on 10 each storm sewer catch basins and paving 6,750 tons of bituminous overlay. The improvement locations include: Oak Grove Preserve 2nd Addition, Will Rogers Addition, Cedar Acres, Riverwoods North and Preserve Park parking lot. Proposal A - Hillcrest Acres Overlay This work includes paving 400 tons of bituminous overlay. The streets include: 182nd Ave. NW, Rose Cir. NW and Rose St. NW. Proposal B - Hickey Woods 2nd Addition This work includes paving 950 tons of bituminous overlay. The streets include: Heather St. NW and 198th Ave. NW. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages.
