Completed plans call for the addition of a 8,370-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for the renovation of a 16,946-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of June 26, 2024, construction had commenced on Monday, June 24, 2024. All trades have been awarded. Completion is expected to take one year. Harper General Contractors has been selected as the Construction Manager at risk for the Additions and Renovations to Fairview Volunteer Fire Department. Project consists of Renovations and Additions to the existing 1-story 16,946 sf Fairview Volunteer Fire Department. The new addition will be 2-stories adding 8,370 sf of heated area. The new work will include a new ambulance apparatus bay, new sleeping rooms, new offices, new fitness room, new storage rooms, showers, toilet facilities and new entrances as well as other listed work in the contract documents. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
