Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yuba City, California. Working plans call for site work for a municipal facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of August 16, 2024, project has been cancelled for the time being. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. Yuba Sutter Area Office the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Parking Lot Repair, Seal and Restripe Services in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement License Requirement: Contractors State License Board (CSLB) C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractors, Or A-General Engineering Contractor In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 of the Labor Code, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained general prevailing wage rates in the county in which the work is to be performed. The rates of prevailing wage are determined by the Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Statistics and Research. The Prevailing Wage Rages as specified by the Department of Industrial Relations are available on the DIR website at online. Contractor shall, without expense to CHP or the state, maintain or cause to be maintained and in effect, at all times during the term of the agreement, with insurers of recognized reputation and responsibility, a valid certificate of Commercial General Liability Insurance with the following State of California requirements The certificate of insurance shall state an amount of Commercial General Liability of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage liability combined. If applicable, the certificate of insurance shall state an amount of Automobile Liability of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage liability combined. If applicable, the certificate of insurance shall state an amount of Pollution Liability of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, which shall provide for work performed on-site as well as during the transport of hazardous materials. (Applicable only when services involve handling of toxic or hazardous substances). Contractor shall maintain statutory workers' compensation and employer's liability coverage for all its employees who will be engaged in the performance of the contract, including special coverage extensions where applicable. Employer's liability limits of $1,000,000 shall be required. If the contract price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), the Contractor shall furnish an original payment bond and a duplicate copy to accompany the contract in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable If the tentative low bidder is not a certified DVBE or small/micro business, a bid preference up to five percent (5%) is available to a responsive non-small business claiming twenty-five percent (25%) small business subcontractor participation with one or more small businesses CHP reserves the right to reject all bids and to cancel this IFB if it is in the best interest of CHP to do so.
