NJ TRANSIT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL No. 0000052 CONSULTING SERVICES FOR UNDERGRADE BRIDGE INSPECTIONS MOVEABLE BRIDGES NJ TRANSIT is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure qualified professional firms to provide Consulting Services for Undergrade Bridge Inspection for Moveable Bridges. It is the intent of NJ TRANSIT to issue three (3) bridge inspection services contracts. Groups A, B & C contain a total of 15 bridge inspections that are to commence in 2024. All firms submitting Proposals for this project must have related experience of a similar magnitude. NJ TRANSIT is requesting Proposals from firms with the intention of awarding a contract to the firm whose qualifications and Proposal are most advantageous to NJ TRANSIT, price and other factors considered. Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference is highly recommended but not mandatory. Recipients of this RFP that do not attend may be at a disadvantage when submitting a Proposal. Late Proposals will not be accepted. online platform is the only method to submit a Proposal for this project; hard copy or emailed Proposals will not be accepted. Note: To increase download speeds of submitted Proposals, a Proposal has a total MAXIMUM upload limit of 70MB. Each upload line has a maximum limit of 10 MB. NJ TRANSIT may not award a Contract unless the Proposer has provided to NJ TRANSIT a valid business registration certificate issued by the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services within the Department of the Treasury, as required by N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, for itself and any named Subconsultant(s). In addition, Subconsultants shall not engage in the performance of any work under this Contract without a valid business registration certificate. This project is also subject to the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.13 et seq.) concerning the reporting of compensation and hours worked by employees categorized by gender, race, ethnicity, and job title. The successful Proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Consultants agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:13-1.1 to ensure Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (DVOB) have an equal opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. A Fifteen Percent (15%) Category 6 SBE/DVOB Goal has been assigned to each group for this project.
