Mojave River Hatchery SOH Rehabilitation Description of Services Description: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to rehabilitate state owned housing units R6-59, R6-60, R6-62, R6-71, R6-72, R6-108, R6-61 Garage, and Replace Walk-In Freezer located in hatchery warehouse building and other miscellaneous work. Location of Services: The location of services shall be performed at Mojave River Hatchery, 12550 Jacaranda Ave., Victorville, CA. 92395 Contract Term Date: Upon CDFW approval until December 31, 2026 Time of Completion: Construction shall be completed within ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY (180) WORKING DAYS following the official “Notice of Start Date” from the State to the Contractor to commence construction. Estimated Cost: $ 1,000,000.00 Bid prices/rates shall also include the cost for obtaining payment and performance bond premiums based on the Total Bid Amount + Contingency (maximum 10%.) Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. CONTRACT BONDS A. When the Contract Sum exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), Contractor must furnish, in duplicate, a Payment Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum securing payment for laborers, mechanics, and materials suppliers used on the Work under the Contract. Payment Bonds must be prepared on a Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract (STD 807) as furnished by State. (PCC § 7103) B. When the Contract Sum exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), Contractor must furnish, in duplicate, a Performance Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum guaranteeing faithful performance of the Work. Performance Bonds must be prepared on Performance Bond (FG-188) as furnished by the State. This may be waved by the department for small business/DVBE contracts and Emergency Contracts. C. Bonds must be issued by a corporate surety authorized to transact a general surety business in the State of California. Contractor must deliver its required bonds before the date of execution of the Contract. Certified DVBE bidder: • Commit to performing at least 3% of the contract bid amount (unless otherwise specified) with the prime bidder’s firm or in combination with another DVBE(s).
