Tibbs Senior Building The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any identified informalities or technicalities in the bidding, sever or make awards of all or parts of any bids to one of more responsible bidders if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so to the extent allowable by law. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the bid opening without the consent of the Owner. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through of the facilities will be conducted on Wednesday ,February 21, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at 111 West Street, Englewood, New Jersey. Bidders are encouraged to attend. Access to the buildings at any other time is restricted, and wholly at the Owners discretion. Bidder shall submit with the bid an electronic bid bond or electronic copy of a bid bond in the amount often percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Englewood Housing Authority, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney forth full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100%of the successful Bidders contract. If the Bidder is to submit a certified check or cashiers check it must be received at the Authority no later than the time stated above at and labeled clearly The last day for questions shall be Friday, March 1, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
