Renovation of an educational facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Boston, will receive sealed bids for UMB SDQD Low Voltage Cable & Equipment Install Scope: Installation of cameras, WAPs, Blue Phones on existing poles and pulling of LV cable through existing conduits General 1. This project includes the supply of patch cords, adaptors and devices. 2. All UTP terminations must follow 568B wiring schematic. 3. Contractor shall install patch cords between switches and patch panels per Owner direction. Estimate- $300000. A 5% bid deposit that is no less than of the bid amount must accompany all bids. The bid deposit may be in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier check; or bid bond from a licensed surety M.G.L. c. 149, 44B(2). The success- ful bidder must furnish a performance and a payment bond each for 100% of the contract price. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149, and to the minimum wage rate as required by the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H inclusive. The University reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids if it were in the public interest to do so. The time for completion of the Work is 60 days Questions must be submitted using the "Tools" sections and selecting "Q&A Board." The deadline for questions to be submitted is 2/15/24.
