Reference Number 0000264253 Question Deadline 02/23/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Asphalt Resurfacing of two areas Area One: Approximately 3,247 square meters Area Two: Approximately 460 square meters a) Remove existing asphalt pavement (straight sawcut at transition locations), offsite dispose of existing asphalt to MTO criteria. Fine grade, compact, and prepare base material surface to receive new heavy duty asphalt material 50MM HL4 + 50MM HL3. Finished grade and drainage patterns to match existing or per contract documents, where applicable. c) Feather grading from top of new asphalt surfaces to blend with existing elevations, except in areas limited by existing conditions, trees, fences etc. d) Grading and topsoil as required exposed surfaces, contractors responsible for Hydro Seeding surfaces as required (or as per drawing) to make good, water and maintain until substantial performance is achieved. e) Match to existing or new concrete pads/aprons as per details, where applicable g) All fill placed on site shall be compacted to a minimum of 98% standard proctor density. Engineered test results shall be recorded and made available to the Board confirming the minimum degree of compaction has been reached. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
