The Charter Township of Van Buren, Wayne County, MI will receive bids for the demolition, removal, and disposal of all structures and appurtenances, including the principal dwelling, located at 50947 and 50955 S. I-94 Service Drive (Parcels 83-074-01-0028-006 and 83-074-01-0028-008). The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and reserves the right not to award a contract. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, power, machinery, tools and equipment needed to perform the demolition, removal, and disposal of the principal dwelling, two (2) detached accessory structures, and all appurtenances, including, but not limited to structural foundations, concrete pads, mechanical units, and all debris located at 50947 and 50955 S. I-94 Service Drive; and restoration of the site. SCOPE OF WORK SHALL INCLUDE: 1. Demolish, remove, and dispose of the principal dwelling and accessory structures, including footings and other debris, in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances. 2. Remove and dispose of all construction debris and other debris on the property in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances. 3. Backfill all open holes with clean fill dirt and grade all holes and excavations that were part of the demolition areas. 4. Seed and mulch all backfilled and graded areas with a grass seed mix appropriate for the area.
