Site work and paving for a civil project in Eaton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All Mobilization and Traffic Control costs are to be included in the per unit cost. The contractor shall furnish all services, labor and materials necessary to apply and complete the project as specified. Each bid must be accompanied by cashier's check or certified check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order ofthe Preble County Commissioners or by a bid bond acknowledged by the bidder, as principal, and by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the owner, as surety. The cashier's check or certified check shall be in the sum often (10%) percent ofthe bid. The bid bond shall be in the sum of 100% ofthe bid, which includes the total ofthe base bid and any alternates, as per ORC requirements. Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder agrees to furnish a performance bond for the total amount ofthe Small Paving Project. Completion date of this project is December 6, 2024. Bidders must be pre-qualified with odot to perform necessary work. The Preble County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any irregularities in bidding; and to enter into a contract(s) with the bidder or bidders who in their consideration offered the lowest and best bid.
