Renovation of an educational facility in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Site and Building improvements required for the delivery and installation of a new 36x40 relocatable building classroom over substrate at each project site with site configuration and parking lot improvements. Kendrick E.S. will include accessibility upgrades, parking lot expansion, concrete flatwork, fencing, addition of basketball and wallball play courts, rework of the existing landscape and irrigation, underground utilities and other work as indicated in the contract documents. Horizon E.S. will include accessibility upgrades, new parking lot expansion, new offsite drive approach, concrete flatwork, fencing, rework of the existing landscape and irrigation, underground utilities and other work as indicated in the contract documents. Family Resource Center will include accessibility upgrades, slurry coat seal existing parking lot and re-stripe existing parking stalls, concrete flatwork, rework of the existing landscape and irrigation, underground utilities and other work as indicated in the contract documents. PROJECT LOCATION: Kendrick E.S. 2200 Faith Ave, Bakersfield, CA. 93307; Horizon E.S. 7901 Monitor St, Bakersfield, CA. 93307; Family Resource Center 5400 Monitor St. Bakersfield, CA 93307. Questions concerning this Project must be in writing and submitted via e-mail not later than Tuesday, February 20 th at 11:00AM A Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work. The following licenses must be prequalified with District: A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 (See item 19 per this Notice to Contractors Calling for Bids). The Projects are anticipated to start on approximately April 8 th , 2024. Refer to the Project Bid Schedule for the approximate start and completion dates of each project Liquidated Damages $1,000 per calendar day
