The project consists of installing asphalt pavement, concrete curb & gutter, excavation & aggregate base for concrete median, concrete sidewalk, pavement markings, mast arm assemblies, illuminated signs, static signs, conduit, cable, and other miscellaneous items to construct a crosswalk system in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois. As IL 83 (Main Street) is under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), a permit for this work will be required. The Village will submit the plans, specifications and other required information for the permit. The Contractor will be required to complete the permit and permit bond forms at no additional compensation. No work may begin until the Highway Permit is issued by IDOT.
