**As of May 6, 2024, the project was awarded to Utilities Unlimited, LLC for an estimated amount of $352,463.40.** **As of March 27,2024 has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this project is to construct approximately 550 LF of curb/gutter, storm-water pipes, and associated structures along the Fern St and Park Rd. The project area starts from Fern St and Oakwood Dr intersection and extends north on east site of Fern St to a portion of Park Rd. The project also includes constructing driveway aprons and replacing asphalt pavement along designated areas. See attached project plans for more details. Owner will provide construction inspection and material testing services. The contractor shall be responsible for taking necessary measures to minimize traffic disruption and residents' access to their property and complete the project on schedule. CONTRACT TERM: The term of the contract shall be 90 days from notice to proceed An award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Evaluation will be based on net prices. Unit prices, extensions and grand total must be shown. In case of arithmetic errors, the unit price will govern. If cash discount for prompt payment is offered, it must be clearly shown in the space provided. Discounts for prompt payment will not be considered in making awards. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. A fully completed and properly executed original Bid Bond, cashier's check, certified check, money order, or cash escrow in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the Treasurer of the City shall accompany each bid. Bid Surety may be retained until after the award to the successful bidder is made. The Bid Surety of the successful bidder shall be retained until completion of the Contract or the posting of a Performance Bond, whichever occurs sooner. A bid submitted without a bid surety, or with a bid surety in an amount less than the required amount, shall be rejected. The posted form shall be utilized for submission of bid bonds. : Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for (120) days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. A bidder, offeror, or contractor shall not be discriminated against in the solicitation or award of this contract because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, faith-based organizational status, any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment or because the bidder or offeror employs ex-offenders unless the state agency, department or institution has made a written determination that employing ex-offenders on the specific contract is not in its best interest. If the award of this contract is made to a faith-based organization and an individual, who applies for or receives goods, services, or disbursements provided pursuant to this contract objects to the religious character of the faith-based organization from which the individual receives or would receive the goods, services, or disbursements, the public body shall offer the individual, within a reasonable period of time after the date of his objection, access to equivalent goods, services, or disbursements from an alternative provider.
