The selected Consultant must be able to provide a team consisting of a senior level engineer acting as the Primary team member, as well as additional field and office support staff available as needed to assist on assigned work, at the City's discretion. The Primary team member shall remain consistent throughout the Contract Term and must be able to dedicate working in the City office two days a week with additional availability as needed, either remotely or in the city office. The Primary team member will work closely with City staff, and potentially other outside consultants, in order to support the City in its day to day operations and long-term goals, as well as be responsible for overseeing and managing the progress and execution of work assigned by the City to the Consultant's team. The City of Shelton is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from professional engineering consulting firms interested in providing a variety of municipal senior engineering services to support the city in its day-to-day operations as well as long term goals and potential development within the city. The intended goal of this contract is to select a firm that is able to appoint a dedicated staff person to work out of the city offices approximately two days a week and provide additional consultant office support as needed.
