Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), En Route Construction Branch (AAQ-540) has a need to replace sidewalks and install stormwater drainage at the Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The estimated construction magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the attached Request for Offers (RFO) package for details. A one-time site visit is scheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm Mountain Time. Site visit attendees will meet with Mr. Trevor Umbinetti at the Salt Lake City ARTCC Guard Station located at 2150 W. 700 N., Salt Lake City, UT. 84116. Please have valid picture identification ready for inspection upon arrival. Site visit attendees shall pre-announce their intent to inspect the site no later than noon Pacific Time on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Prospective offerors shall email the names of all site visit attendees to mark.salum@faa.gov. Requests for Information (RFIs) arising from the site visit shall be emailed mark.salum@faa.gov no later than 5:00 pm Pacific Time on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Responses to RFIs will be provided in writing via solicitation amendment only. No RFIs will be answered during the site visit. Offers are due no later than noon Pacific Time on Friday, March 8, 2024 at noon Pacific Time. All offers shall be emailed to mark.salum@faa.gov. NOTE: ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE A TOTAL FILE SIZE OF LESS THAN 10 MB. EMAILS CONTAINING MORE THAN 10 MB OF ATTACHMENTS WILL BE REJECTED BY FAA'S EMAIL SYSTEM. OFFERORS MAY SUBMIT MULTIPLE EMAILS IF FILE SIZES WILL EXCEED 10 MB IN TOTAL. The Contractor shall begin performance within 5calendar days and complete it within 60 calendar days after receiving. Requests for Information (RFIs): Requests for Information (RFIs) arising from the site visit shall be emailed mark.salum@faa.gov no later than 5:00 pm Pacific Time on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Responses to RFIs will be provided in writing via solicitation amendment only. No RFIs will be answered during the site visit. Insurance: In accordance with AMS clause 3.4.1-10, required insurance certificate(s) naming the Federal Aviation Administration as additional insured under the resultant contract is due to the contracting officer no later than 10 calendar days after notice of award. Bonds: AMS clause 3.4.1-4 Performance Bond Requirements and 3.4.1-5 Payment Bond Requirements are incorporated into the solictation and any resultant award. Performance and payment bonds in the penal amount of 100% of the resultant contract price are due to the contracting officer no later than 10 calendar days after award. See Section I for further details. Security: Awardee may be required to undergo security screening/background investigations in accordance with AMS clause 3.14-2 in order to gain unescorted access to a government owned/operated facility. Notes: Information regarding offeror submission requirements is included in Section L (Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Bidders). Information regarding the Government's evaluation criteria for award is included in Section M (Evaluation Factors for Award). Contractors interested in submitting an offer in response to the solicitation shall review the entire solicitation package; complete the Solicitation, Offer, and Award form (solicitation pages 1-2); complete the Price Schedule (solicitation page 3); complete all provision fill-ins contained within Section K (solicitation pages 34-41); and complete all solicitation requirements listed in Sections L and M (solicitation pages 42-50). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of complete systems design and furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, appliances, equipment, transportation and services as required performing work shown on drawings and specifications. B. Work shall include but not be limited to replacement of concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters and other various paving surfaces in the following areas: 1. Area 1: Wheelchair incident area spanning about three (3) 5 ft. x 5 ft. panels. 2. Area 2: Main entrance sidewalk, approximately 3365 SF for replacement. 3. Area 3: Southeast sidewalk, approximately 150 SF for panel replacements. 4. Area 4: Northeast sidewalk, approximately 440 SF curb and gutter replacements. 5. Area 5: NIFO/AAS concrete ramp reconstruction. 6. Area 6: Miscellaneous curb replacement. 7. Area 7: Southeast parking lot curb and gutter extension. 8.
