The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to retain a Consulting Engineering Firm ("the Consultant") to provide professional engineering services for the investigation of structural components of and surrounding Ozone Contactors at Oakville Water Treatment Plant. Proponents shall prepare a Technical Proposal addressing the project including a Detailed Work Plan with timeline and a Cost Proposal. Proponents should identify all key project team members and demonstrate the ability to commit the necessary resources to complete the project in the proposed timeframe. Proponents should identify alternative project team members, if required, to enable commitment of the necessary resources to complete the project. If the scope of work outlined in this RFP is not included in the Schedule of Prices as a specified line item, the Proponents shall include the costs in the most appropriate line item so that the Total Bid Price reflects the total effort to perform and complete all the work required under the RFP The following outlines the work as contemplated by the Region and is for guidance only. Proponents are encouraged to be innovative in their Proposals in identifying additional or different tasks and provide details for the execution of such tasks. The Consultant must be familiar with and comply with all current Halton Standards and manuals with regard to investigation, assessment, design, testing, commissioning and all other engineering services requirements for the project. The manuals to be used for this assignment include but are not limited to the following list: Halton Region's Water and Wastewater Facilities Design Manual, and . Consultant Procedure Manual - Facilities (November 2011).
