The Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District (CCN BID) is seeking proposals from qualified, reliable vendors to provide landscape maintenance services to the medians on 1st Avenue (from Steele Street to University Boulevard), and the 1st Avenue/University Boulevard triangle median, together known herein as the Medians. These services are expected to start on April 1, 2024. The Cherry Creek North BID is offering an initial 2-year contract. The Contractor will be responsible for providing landscape maintenance services to the medians on 1st Avenue (from Steele Street to University Boulevard), and the 1st Avenue/University Boulevard triangle median, together known herein as the Medians. The contractor shall be solely responsible for the care and maintenance of all landscape elements including, without limitation, shrubs, perennials, annuals, sod, and the like which are currently on the Medians subject to Denver Parks and Recreation requirements, standards and specifications. Such maintenance shall include, at a minimum, fertilizing, weed control performed by a licensed tree contractor, annual plantings as desired, and shrub replacement upon request to keep the landscape in good condition. The contractor shall ensure that all landscape maintenance responsibilities shall be performed in accordance with all current DPR (Denver Parks and Recreation) standards and practices. Maintenance activities must comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations for performance of work on City park land and in City right-of-way.
