Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmer, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be performed under this contract shall include construction of a new pickleball court and related site work. Generally, the contract will include a pavement of the new court and connecting walking path. There will be two courts, placed in the new pavement area, inclusive of posts, nets and court surfacing. As an alternative bid there will be fencing around and between the two courts. Protection of the existing park, restoration of disturbed areas and all other associated work and items as indicated in the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities, defects or irregularities in the Bids on any basis he deems to be in his best interest. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to revise or amend the Contract Documents prior to the date set for opening of Bids. Such revisions will be announced by Addenda to the Contract Documents. Copies of all such Addenda issued will be sent to all parties receiving copies of the Contract Documents. A Proposal guarantee (certified check, cashiers check, or surety bid bond) in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders maximum bid price, but in no case in excess of $20,000 shall be submitted with each Bid. A Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Bid will be required prior to the award of Contract. The Borough of Elmer reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to reject any or all bids.
