Site work for a stadium in Macomb, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a stadium.
Work include: Labor, material, equipment and to replace the existing synthetic football field turf system at Hanson Field on the campus of Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. This work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and disposal of the existing synthetic turf system, regrading and filling minor depressions of the existing subbase, and the placement of a new synthetic turf system. PROJECT FINAL COMPLETION DATE: July 28, 2024 The Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University reserves the right to reject any part or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Board. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES 1. Due to the time sensitive nature of this project and complications and burdens incurred by the Owner if the project is not delivered on time, liquidated damages will be applied to this contract per the following schedule: a) $250.00/ calendar day that substantial completion is not reached and agreed to by the Owner after the deadline of June 28, 2024. b) $500.00/ calendar day that substantial completion and final completion is not reached and agreed to by the Owner after the deadline of July 28, 2024. c) $1,000/ calendar day that substantial completion and final completion is not reached and agreed to by the Owner after the deadline of August 15, 2024.
