The City of DeSoto seeking proposals from qualified persons or firms in order to establish service to support SCADA equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and integration services of the City's water and wastewater system. The purpose for this service contract is to establish a three (3) year service agreement with an additional one (1) year renewal option for services and software support of the City's SCADA system and various instrumentation for the City of DeSoto Public Utilities Department. Services under this agreement will be ordered on an as needed bases for the term of the agreement and will not be an exclusive service agreement. There is no pre-submittal conference for this RFQ The City of DeSoto will use a two-step process for the final selection of a qualified consultant. Step 1 consists of a Qualifications package submitted by firms interested in being considered. The City may select up to five (5) short-listed firms based on an evaluation of the written materials submitted. Short-listed firms may be asked to submit additional information and be invited for an onsite interview. Step 2 consists of the selection of one finalist following interviews with the short-listed firms. The City initiates negotiations with the selected consultant to develop a scope of work. If negotiations are unsuccessful, the City enters into the process with the next highest. Deadline for Questions February 23, 2024. Right to Assurance. Whenever the City has reason to question the Firm's intent to perform, the City may demand that the Firm(s) give written assurance of Firm's intent to perform. In the event a demand is made, and no assurance is given within ten (10) calendar days, the City may treat this failure as an anticipatory repudiation of the contract
