Work includes Main Roof (Upper/Lower) & Single Large Pod Area: Remove existing modified bitumen roof membrane down to existing lightweight insulating concrete (LWIC), replace roof drains, mechanically fastened vented base sheet, torch apply 3-ply modified bitumen roof membrane; Raised Mechanical Pod Roof Areas: Coal tar built-up roof with aggregate surfacing (BUR) over perlite board to be removed down to concrete topper, replace roof drains, apply tapered rigid insulation and gypsum coverboard, torch apply 3-ply modified bitumen roof membrane; Small Storage Shed: Remove modified bitumen cap sheet and fiberglass base down to the existing plywood deck, apply a self-adhered modified bitumen base sheet, apply nontapered rigid insulation and gypsum coverboard, torch apply 3-ply modified bitumen roof membrane; All sheet metal flashings are to be fabricated stainless steel; All mechanical equipment and associated electrical work to be performed by contractor; Upon completion, provide 20-year NDL manufacturer's warranty with elevated wind rider; replace campus electrical switch gear; replace both of Bldg. 03 mechanical systems, to include condenser and air handlers. All roof top units are in possession of owner for Bldg 01. Mechanical systems to be installed for Bldg. 03 to be included in base quote amount. Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed, construction is not expected to start prior to March 2024. Award will be made on March 05th, 2024. Assuming all required documentation has been provided by the successful Quoter, the Notice to Procure will be issued shortly thereafter. The Work shall be Substantially Complete one-hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days following Substantial Completion. SEALED TASK ORDER QUOTATIONS in the form prescribed below shall be delivered via US mail to the SBAC Purchasing Department, 620 East University Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601, or via express delivery or by hand, to SBAC Purchasing Department, 620 East University Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601, on or before 3:00 pm local time, Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. The Task Order Quotation package shall be marked with the RFTOQ # and Title. At this time, Task Order Quotations will be opened publicly. Late Task Order Quotations will not be accepted. Faxed Task Order Quotations will not be accepted. Sales tax is only applied to materials purchased directly by a Quoter. In all other respects, the SBAC is tax exempt. Task Order award will be made to the qualified Quoter submitting the lowest price Task Order Quotation.
