Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
It is understood that the Work included under this Proposal includes all General Construction, Mechanical Work , Electrical Work and all other Work described in the Bidding Documents. No sales tax is to be included in the bid for any tangible personal property that will become a part of or incorporated into the Work, as specified in Document 00 7390 - Sales Tax Exemption/Designation of Purchasing Agent. Description: Two additions , One is a wood framed girls and boys restroom . The other addition is a PEMB with 1 classroom, a storage room , & corridor The undersigned certifies bidder has visited the project site, met with the Owner's Representative to discu ss Project Scope and has observed and investigated all conditions affecting the Work Bond Notes: Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. A Bid Security in the form of a ca shier's check, or certified check, or acceptable bidder's surety bond, made payable to the Owner, in an amoun t that is not less than 5 percent of the Bid Proposal submitted, including all alternates, shall accompany each Bid as a guarantee. PERFORMANCE BOND Amount: Equal to 100 p ercent of Contract Sum. PAYMENT BOND (Statutory Bond) A. Amount: Equal to 100 percent of Contract Sum. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided by BWA Architects Tulsa office once approved to bid. Your Bid is required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. QUESTIONS DURING BIDDING : For information concern ing any part of the proposed Work, contact the Archite ct as speci fied in Document 0 0 2113 - In structions to Bidders and modifications thereto and Document 00 2218 - Additional Instructions to Bidders. Additional bidding instructions are included in the Bidding Requirements which are bound into the Contract Documents. Liquidiy Damages: The Bidder pledges to enter into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bid and shall, if required, furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract or fail to furnish such bonds if required, the amount of the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. In the event the Owner fails to comply with Section 6.2, the amount of the bid security shall not be forfeited to the Owner. If the Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Completion as provided in this Section 3.3, liquidated damages, if any, shall be assessed as set forth in Section 4.5
