The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary to perform Genie Aerial Boom Lift Annual Maintenance Services including inspections, repair and certification at Camp Roberts, Highway 101, Camp Roberts, CA 93451 on or around March 1, 2024, through March 28, 2024, in accordance with the technical specifications. The State of California Military Department shall accept sealed bids, from qualified bidders offering to perform Genie Aerial Boom Lift Annual Maintenance Services including inspections, repair and certification at Camp Roberts, Highway 101, Camp Roberts, California, 93451 in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB).The term for this service will be on or around March 1, 2024, through March 28, 2024. PURPOSE/BACKGROUND: Perform the Annual Maintenance required per the manufacturer's maintenance manual. This piece of equipment is required to be tested and certified regularly for use, (certification was last due on 6/2017). In addition to the required services, other services shall consist of the following: 1. Replace all (4) tires with new, offroad, foam filled tires (foam filled if available). 2. Replace propane line with new (existing leaks). 3. Replace hydraulic fluid filter with new. 4. Replace hydraulic fluid with new. 5. Perform aerial lift certification. 6. Inspect and repair all hoses/lines that are cracked or leaking. 7. Change engine oil and replace oil filter with new (oil to conform with manufacturers specifications). 8. Perform engine tune up. 9. Remove and replace battery (existing Centennial C-31-10AP CCA 1000). 10. Remove and replace air filter with new. 11. Replace all belts with new. 12. Confirm all control levers are working properly. 13. Contractor may include travel costs in their proposal if applicable DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Work consists of furnishing labor, equipment, tools, services, and small parts necessary to complete work being requested. 2. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all fluids removed 3. Factory trained personnel for servicing and repairing aerial lift equipment 4. Serial number for this equipment is #s4507-12457 The Government Estimate for this project is $13,500.00. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued in the event package at electronically prior to the Bid Opening. Bid results will not be divulged by telephone or available via facsimile. Official bid results will be posted electronically. The State may reject any or all bids and may waive any immaterial deviation. The State's waiver of an immaterial deviation shall in no way modify the Invitation for Bids (IFB) or excuse the bidder from full compliance with the objectives if the bidder is awarded the contract. The Military Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. SECURITY REQUIREMEMNTS: Contract personnel shall be required to provide current driver's license, proof of insurance and current registration of vehicle upon entrance to Camp Roberts. HOURS OF OPERATION: The work site will be available for contractor activities 7:00 am to 3: 30 pm, Monday through Friday. The site will not be available for contractor's activities on weekends, State or Federal holidays. After hours work and work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays may be permitted if written approval is obtained from the CM at least three (3) days prior.
