Questions on this bid are to be emailed to FINcontracts@kenner.la.us no later than FIVE (5) working days prior to bid opening. Please reference bid number in all requests. Any corrections to portions of the bid form that are completed by the bidder must be initialed. The City of Kenner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and waive informalities. However, the provisions and requirements of the Louisiana Public Bid law, those stated in the advertisement for bids, those provided in the bid form and written specifications shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by the City of Kenner. The City of Kenner will accept one price for each item unless otherwise indicated. Two or more prices for one item will result in bid rejection. Failure to bid on an item will also result in rejection of the bid. Where brand names and stock numbers are specified, it is for the purpose of establishing certain minimum standards of quality. Bids may be submitted for products of equal quality provided brand names and stock numbers are specified. Complete product data of equal products may be required prior to award. All materials and/or products must be new and of current manufacturer, unless otherwise stated. Any product or service bid shall conform to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and the specifications contained in the solicitation. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the state. Vendor must request this preference (LSA- R. S. 38:2251-2261). Scope of Work/services as Stated in the General Information/conditions Section of These Bid Documents, the Scope of Work/services Required Under the Terms of This Contract Include, but Not Limited the Repair, Maintenance and Trouble-shooting Exterior/interior Overhead Lighting Lamps, Fixtures, Poles, Foundations and Wiring on All City Properties. This is a Labor Only Contract. Repairs Shall Be Performed by Qualified, Trained and Certified Personnel That Are Directly Employed by the Contractor. Licensed Contractor Shall Maintain During the Duration of This Contract a Staff Trained Electricians Capable of Troubleshooting and Locating Underground Faults. The Failure to Maintain Such Requirements Shall Be Cause for Termination of the Contract. Work Performance/areas All Work Shall Be Performed in a Professional/workmanlike Manner. Materials and Workmanship Shall Be Subject to City Personnel Inspection & Approval. Work Areas Shall Be Maintained in an Orderly Manner and All Trash Picked Up and Hauled Away as the Work is Completed. Contractor Shall Prevent Access by the General Public or City Personnel to Materials, Tools, Ladders, Equipment/tools, Etc... During Course of Work. Tools, Equipment, Materials and Miscellaneous Are the Full Responsibility of the Contractor, and Must Be Protected/secured at All Times to the Satisfaction of the City.
