Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,471-square-foot, two-story above grade swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Arlington, Texas (the Owner) will accept bids for work at Woodland West Aquatic Center described in general as follows: 1. Mobilization / General Conditions 2. Install tree protection and site construction fencing 3. Install and maintain erosion control facilities 4. Demolition and removal of designated elements 5. Grading and drainage improvements 6. Hardscape improvements (concrete sidewalks, mow strips) 7. Construct concession building with restroom 8. Install leisure pool/ lap pool and sprayground & play unit base 9. Install concrete pool deck 10. Install sprayground aquatic play structure 11. Install shade structures 12. Install pool railing and ladder 13. Install pool fencing 14. Install site drainage, sanitary and water service connections, and utility infrastructure 15. Landscaping (preparation and planting installation) 16. Install permanent, automatic, underground irrigation 17. Install all lighting components and footings, connections 18. Complete cleanup of entire area within project limits and other portions of the site outside of project limits that may be affected by construction and other work as shown on the construction plans. A Cashier's Check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Arlington, Texas, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest amount bid must accompany the bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract and payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. These bonds shall be fully executed and accompany the signed contract. The successful bidder shall also furnish to the Owner a Maintenance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract covering defects of material and workmanship for one year following the Owner's approval and final acceptance of the work. The right to accept any bid, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities is hereby reserved by the Owner.
