Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the nam and address ofthe Bidder and labeled "EDISON PUBLIC LIBRARY INTERIOR RENOVATIONS" Bifs may be delivered by mail, messenger, courier, overnight service or by hand. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so. Separate sealed bids for: GENERAL CONTRACT: EDISON PUBLIC LIBRARY INTERIOR RENOVATIONS All work incidental thereto, including but not limited to the interior renovations and as required in accordance with the Project Manual. All questions regarding the project should be directed to the Architect and received in writing only via email to: office@aiarchs.com Bids must be accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. Bids must be accompanied by consen of surety regardless of whether a check or Bid Bond is submitted. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1999, c.238T "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act",, which became effective on April 11, 2000. Bidders and their subcontractors must comply with the New Jersey Business Registration requirements. Bidders shall comply with the req uirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21 and N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 et seq, (P.L. 2022 c.3) respecting the disclosure of prohibited Russia-Belarus & Iran Investment Activities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
