The contractor shall be responsible for sanding down to bare wood, applying all painted graphics and lines then applying sealers and finish coats on (1) gymnasium wood floor at the elementary and (1) gymnasium wood floor at the middle/high. A separate cost shall be provided for each gym. Depending on cost, the district may choose to refinish either or both gyms. The cost form will include a line item to provide an economy of scale deduction if the district decides to go ahead with both floors. The Crivitz Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and retains the right to accept the proposal considered to be the most advantageous to the District. 1. Complete removal of existing finish at wood gymnasium floor and complete refinishing at locations noted: 2. At bleacher locations the bleachers shall be in their fully retracted position during recoating or refinishing process. Refinishing of floor immediately beneath retracted bleachers is not required. 3. Protect bleachers from products such as solvents used as part of refinishing work that may be detrimental to bleacher components. 4. Wood floor repairs need to be done with MFMA Flooring. a) Wood flooring size to be field measured. Description: Maple Floor Manufacturers Association approved oil-modified sanding sealer formulated to seal wood and provide surface for finish coating. c) Three (3) coats of Rebounder 350 Sealer by Stalker Sports Floors or equivalent d) Layout and repainting of game lines with industrial enamel paint compatible with floor finish. e) One (1) coat of Rebounder 350 finish by Stalker Sports Floors or equivalent
