Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bridgeton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Bridgeton is requesting Bid proposals for the project listed below. Otherwise, the City of Bridgeton assumes no responsibility for delays in the mail or delivery service causing the Bid to not be received at the designated place and time, as specified above. Bids are to be presented to the City of Bridgeton in sealed envelopes marked: BID: Giles Road, Devonshire Place, Wayne Road Glen Drive, Rugby Lane, North Drive and South Drive Reconstruction The City of Bridgeton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive immaterial information. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on outside and addressed to the City of Bridgeton. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid but no greater than $20,000. This is a prevailing wage project and all bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. Question Deadline 02/22/2024 Any explanation desired by a Bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation must be requested in writing and received by the City Clerk Nichole Almanza (almanzan@,cityofbridgeton.com)within eight (8) working days prior to the Bid closing date and time.
